二、清明节阅读语篇

The Qingming Festival falls on April 4-6 each year. After the festival, the temperature will rise up and rainfall increases,so we use the umbrellas almost everyday .Everywhere is wet ,just like the poem of DuMu says”It drizzles endless during the rainy season in spring,Travelers along the road look gloomy and miserable.”

On each Qingming Festival, almost all the hills are crowded with people who came to sweep tombs and offer sacrifices(祭品）.After sweeping the tombs carefully, people usually lay out some delicious food,beautiful flowers and favorites of the dead.The food could be dessert , chicken,duck ,fish,pig,Qingtuan and so on.Then they burn paper money and bow before the memorial tablet(碑）.Our parents always warn us not to be naughty during the festival,if we don’t take the tradition seriously,we will be punished.When we go back home,we can enjoy Qingtuan with our relatives. Qingtuan, a traditional dessert popular in the south of the Yangtze River, is also a traditional food that must be eaten during the Qingming festival.

Sweeping the tombs is not the only activity during the Qingming festival.This day is also a time for people to enjoy themselves. Some wonderful activities include spring outing,flying kites,riding bicycles and so on. The Qingming Festival is a time when the sun shines brightly, the warm sun shine makes the trees and grass become green and birds are again lively. Since ancient times, everyone have followed the custom of Spring outings. At this time tourists are everywhere. Most people love to fly kites and ride bicycles during the Qingming Festival.

In a word, the Qingming festival seems not only a time to remember the dead but also a time to enjoy life.

Every nation in the world has its own traditional festivals ,so does China. There are many festivals in this great country. let me tell you two of them.

The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival falls on the first day of the first lunar month .The government groups decorate buildings and parks with beautiful lanterns and lights. People often clean their houses do their shopping until new year's Eve.New year's Eve dinner are different in different parts of China. Those in south China must have a dish of fish because fish in Chinese sounds similar to the character for “an increase in wealth” and wonderful life.Those in north China often eat dumplings which symbolize reunion. You will not feel hungry during the Spring Festival because you can try whatever you like in your home. During the spring festival people usually wear new clothes and visit the close relatives and best friends.There's also a tradition of giving or getting a Hongbao. Everyone can go to the street to watch dragon dance.Because of the8-day- long vacation, people have enough time to travel during the Spring festival.Someone choose to visit HaErbin to enjoy the beauty of ice,Someone decide to visit Hainan to try paragliding and diving(潜水）and so on . The Spring festival is a time to get together with family and enjoy the reunion dinner.

The Mid-Autumn festival

The fifteenth day of the eighth Lunar month is the Mid autumn festival, and it’s a time to get together and celebrate the harvest(丰收）.There are many traditional folk stories about this festival. However, most people think that the story of Chang'e is the most touching.Beside the Spring Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the most important festival symbolizing reunion.Eating mooncakes, listening to folk stories and admiring the full moon are important activities during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
